Our Artists


Luke McCall

Luke has only been performing for a few years as he only started when he was 16. Luke joined Ysgol Theatr Maldwyn in 2007, playing the lead roles in shows such as ‘Pum Diwrnod o Ryddid’ and ‘Mela’. In 2009, Luke played the part of Fin in the west end charity production of Glee, being performed at the Palace Theatre in Manchester in front of a full house audience on two consecutive nights. From doing the Glee production, he was asked to perform as part of an ensemble on Coronation Street in the wedding of Roy and Hailey Cropper. Luke also performed for Youth Music Theatre UK in 2009, the UK’s leading national music theatre company for young people and has played the main role in shows such as Macheath in ‘A Beggar’s Opera’ and Macbeth in the musical production of ‘Macbeth’. Alongside theatre, Luke also performs solo in many concerts around the UK, and has made television appearances on the Welsh channel S4C, performing solo


Freddie Pitts

After studying acting at college and later doing a HNC in performance, Freddie joined The University of Wales Trinity st David in 2010. During this time he has learnt things on both the performance side, and the business side of the industry. After taking a devised piece on tour round Wales with the university, Freddie started writing plays, and is working on a few pieces to date, including one two person comedy, one short piece, and one full length stage play which he hopes to perform under the Unicycle name.
He is currently working on a student film, as well as a university led main-house performance of Berkoff’s adaptation of ‘The Trial’ and a production Unicycle will be taking to the Edinburgh Fringe in August.


Connor Allen

Currently a third year acting student at Trinity Saint David, Connor comes from Newport, South Wales but currently operate in Carmarthen due to the course.
He has done work with Mess up the Mess theatre company on their regional tour of ‘hidden’ where he took both a character as himself, and also worked on puppetry work for one of the younger characters.


David Charles-Hendy

David is in his final year at The University of Wales Trinity Saint David and is really looking forward to the chance of being part of this theatre company as it develops over the coming years. After studying abroad in Vancouver, Canada and in Greensboro, North Carolina he is hoping to use the experience gained in these places in order to forward his work on stage and in other environments such as workshops. He enjoys Circus Skills and Fencing which he hopes can contribute to his performances as well as wishing to improve on as he progresses from Training into employment. He is currently playing the role of Bertram Cates in ‘Inherit the Wind’ for his studies at University.
